CLIENT: Dwight Rudd Insurance

CHALLENGE AND STRATEGY: Dwight Rudd Insurance, insurance brokers since 1949, decided that it was time to create their first corporate website. They wanted it to be simple, professional and modern, to be used mostly as a marketing and informational tool, but also have contact form functionality.They wanted to keep their logo close to the original, I only tweaked it a bit to fit better on the horizontal header. The original logo color was a dark blue I used that as the beginning of the color palette and added a light blue and a gold to compliment the blue.One challenge with the design was picking the right kind of imagery to set a good tone. One aspect they wanted to highlight was that they are a local Boston company, and they provide personal service for Boston companies and individuals. So that lead us to choose some Boston imagery for the home page. For the other pages we picked images that evoked security in home, in life and in business.
